01 — The project

Collaboration in the field

Café Río Lejos is a living project that combines ecological restoration, coffee production, rural infrastructure, native species nursery, nature tourism, and community work.

A project with multiple fronts open and a constantly growing structure.

02 — The context

During my time at the farm, I integrated into the daily work and administrative processes. From within, a reality common to many regenerative projects became evident: an enormous capacity for action, many tasks developing in parallel, and decisions driven by intuition and experience.

The farm needed a practical system to help organize the present and facilitate project planning.

03 — The challenge

The challenge was to structure the management of a project working simultaneously on forest restoration, coffee production, nursery, infrastructure, tourism, and team coordination.

It was necessary to connect daily fieldwork with strategic planning, establish clear priorities, and track the progress of each work line without losing sight of the project’s overall vision.

04 — The solution

I designed and implemented a customized management system in Notion, built from the farm’s actual dynamics.

The system organizes work by projects, areas, responsible parties, and strategic objectives, and incorporates tracking tools such as task priority, execution status, calendar, Kanban board, and a global strategic view.

This way, planning is connected with daily execution.

05 — The impact

The farm moved from managing scattered tasks to working with an integrated structure.

Management gained clarity on project status, the team could better visualize their priorities, and work tracking became more measurable and coordinated.

06 — The Belay approach

This project reflects Belay‘s way of working.

We don’t design solutions from the outside. We integrate into the project, understand how it works, and build systems adapted to its reality.

This is part of the work we develop with initiatives linked to sustainability, environmental regeneration, and responsible tourism, where digital strategy and organizational planning are always built in connection with the territory and the people who inhabit it.

Technology does not replace living processes.
It organizes and enhances them.
